Dr. Eimir McGrath

Eimir is a psychotherapist and supervisor accredited by the IAHIP branch of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy, and the Irish Association for Psychotherapy and Play Therapy (founder member and former chairperson).
Eimir is co-founder of Disability Psychotherapy Ireland and is currently Secretary of the Institute for Psychotherapy and Disability (UK). She is the Ireland Contact Person for the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation.​
Eimir specializes in attachment issues and complex trauma, including Dissociative Disorders.​ She has worked extensively with both children and adults with disabilities, as well as their support systems, in a wide variety of residential, educational and clinical settings.​ Eimir is a researcher, lecturer and trainer in several disciplines including psychotherapy, play therapy, and critical disability studies. She presents papers and runs workshops at conferences both nationally and internationally. She is a core trainer on the Garda Siochana Specialist Interviewer Training Course and provides psychotherapy, consultancy, bespoke training and specialist supervision to a range of organisations including HSE, Tusla, Camphill Communities, CARI Dublin, Bluebox Limerick.​ Her published works focus on the theoretical application of interpersonal neurobiology to the psychotherapeutic process; the role of creative arts in psychotherapy; and the critical analysis of perceptions of disability within society.

Sorca McGrath

Sorca is a integrative, creative psychotherapist, play therapist and clinical supervisor accredited by The Irish Association for Play Therapy and Psychotherapy (IAPTP), holds certification with The European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP) and is a member of The Institute of Disability Psychotherapy (IPD)
She is a board member for the IAPTP National Executive Committee and currently serves as Vice Chairperson.
Sorca is also a steering group member of Disability Psychotherapy Ireland (DPI) and has presented her work nationally, focussing on the use of creative psychotherapy approaches with neurodiverse people.
Sorca specialises in attachment and trauma work and has extensive experience working with people, young and old, living in care. She has created the Every Body Moves™ range of therapeutic programmes for groups, based on an embodied approach to relationship and emotional regulation.
Sorca has a special interest in working with organisations who provide residential care in Ireland, developing ways of sharing psychotherapeutic, language, theory and therapeutic thinking from the top down.
Sharing psychotherapeutic thinking and models of relating with carers, who support those living in care, was the main area of her Masters research.

Associate Therapist
Maeve Brogan
MIAPTP
Maeve is a Play Therapist and practicing Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Play Therapy (IAPTP) and is in her final Masters year with the Children’s Therapy Centre.
Maeve holds a BA in Montessori Education. She has worked for over 20 years in the area of neurodiversity and disability in the Special Education System. Maeve has also developed and delivered training and workshops for both family and staff in the area of neurodiversity.
Maeve is fully LAMH trained.
Maeve uses integrative, child centred and trauma informed approaches in her work with children and adults. She passionately believes in being a neuroaffirming therapist and supporting the individual clients needs with care, dignity and respect.
Maeve is currently training to be a certified AutPlay provider. Maeve’s MA research focuses on inclusivity and accessibility in Play Therapy.
Associate Therapist
Caoimhe O'Sullivan
MIAPTP
Caoimhe is a play therapist and a practising psychotherapist. She is in her final year of her MA Creative Psychotherapy, and she holds pre-accredited membership with the Irish Association for Play Therapy and Psychotherapy (IAPTP).
Caoimhe works from a humanistic and integrative standpoint, incorporating a variety of creative, trauma-informed approaches into her sessions. She places the clients’ needs at the centre of her work, and is driven by her passion for the therapeutic powers of play and healing relationships.
Caoimhe holds a BA Applied Psychology (UCC), has a background in childcare, and has extensive experience in working with children with serious illnesses and their families. Her MA research focuses on the power of play in supporting the parent-child relationship.

Vicky Cullen
MIAPTP
Vicky is a Play Therapist and practising Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist specialising in play. She is a pre-accredited member of The Irish Association of Play Therapy (IAPTP) in her final Masters year with the Children's Therapy Centre.
Vicky uses a humanistic and integrative modality of psychotherapy which is trauma and attachment informed, and utilises creative approaches such as art, sensory play, movement and music. She uses a child-centred approach and her work is informed by interpersonal neurobiology and systems theory.
Vicky has trained and studied with the Children's Therapy Centre, Maynooth University (BA Hons Sociology and Anthropology), and has a background in Montessori teaching and youth work.
